Often I have mentioned to someone that I have fostered many dogs for SPIN and heard them reply, “How I wish I could do something like that, but I am not sure I can.” Many people are searching for ways to give back to the community and others are not sure about a lifelong commitment to this very large but beautiful breed. Fostering lets you try both.

We make the job as easy as possible for you; the hardest part may be the most rewarding – watching the beautiful dog you tried not to love TOO much go to his forever home where he will be loved unconditionally. The dog will be happy, the family will be happy, and hopefully you will also be happy because now you have room to save one more. SPIN supplies money and assistance for vet care and supplies, opportunities to show your dog, and a chance to review applications from approved families. You supply love and care in a well-fenced yard, and a little time to spend with a frightened and often poorly nourished dog that will become comfortable and beautiful in your home.
